Remembering a President Who Ran a Corrupt Operation from the White House
Remembering a President Who Ran a Corrupt Operation from the White House
CRIMINAL ENTERPRISES
Four years ago, Trump was
physically pushed out of the White House despite his desperate attempts to
incite violence and remain in power. His tenure left the nation exposed to
severe national security weaknesses, contributing to the catastrophic impact of
COVID-19, which claimed millions of lives and shuttered countless businesses.
Trump dismantled critical protective measures, defunded essential programs, and
removed scientists from vulnerable regions, all while running a corrupt
operation from within the White House.
President Trump dismantled the
pandemic response team in 2018, leaving the nation vulnerable to pandemics. The
administration sought to cut funding for the CDC, although Congress restored
and increased some of that funding. These actions significantly hampered the
nation's preparedness and response to COVID-19, leading to widespread
devastation and a death toll surpassing 200,000 by September 2020.
Trump brazenly appointed Supreme
Court judges to shield himself from accountability for his numerous
transgressions against the nation. He appointed his daughter as a senior
advisor and his son-in-law, who essentially acted as the chief of staff,
securing a two-billion-dollar deal with the Saudi government, undoubtedly
trading something of immense value in return. Despite being impeached twice,
political machinations allowed Republicans to prevent his expulsion from
office. They profess their patriotism, but their inaction speaks volumes.
Trump purchased a hotel in
Washington, D.C., where he could charge exorbitant rates to those seeking to
influence the White House, with his son Donny Jr. managing these deals. It is
infuriating that the Biden administration did not investigate the transactions
conducted within that hotel. Trump is the only president who directly profited
from his businesses while in office, yet faced no consequences. Encouraging
domestic terrorists to support his cause under the guise of patriotism, he
continued to undermine the nation's security.
The Justice Department has
repeatedly identified domestic terrorism as the greatest threat to the nation,
yet Republicans either collude with these elements or are too cowardly to
confront them. On January 6, 2021, these criminal networks rallied behind Trump,
attempting to maintain his grip on power. Sadly, our forces did not respond to
these terrorists with the same vigor typically employed against foreign
threats. Now, Trump’s running mate is openly threatening civil war if they are
not elected, a stark reminder of the ongoing peril.
Even the Murdoch family
eventually distanced themselves from this corrupt regime, although it might
have been a ploy to avoid scrutiny under the Biden administration. Our
political system repeatedly elevates individuals with criminal pasts or
connections, who then fail to uphold the law against their cronies. Kamala
Harris stands as a beacon of integrity, free from such baggage. As the former
Attorney General of California, she is poised to lead a justice department
unafraid to prosecute wrongdoers.
Harris has no family members
embroiled in legal troubles, allowing her to focus entirely on national
governance. Her candidacy represents a golden opportunity for progressives
yearning for robust fiscal policies to uplift the poor and middle class. The current
state of our $30 trillion debt is a testament to the failure of past
leadership. Building a strong economy necessitates a vibrant middle class,
achievable through the honest implementation of progressive policies. Harris’s
leadership promises a future where the nation’s strength is derived from the
prosperity of all its people, not just the privileged few.
Trump talks like a reborn slave
owner, nostalgic for the days when everyone bowed to the rich. He frames his
message as if every white man was wealthy and owned slaves, while in reality,
rich individuals exploit everyone, regardless of skin color. The sooner we
understand that the wealthy use people to abuse others, the better. Consider
the billionaire in India who threw a half-billion-dollar wedding, only to raise
data service costs afterward to recoup his expenses. This example shows that
wealthy people are all alike, and therefore, the middle class and poor need to
unite in this battle. It is a fight for all of us, regardless of our appearance
or skin color. Kamala Harris is the candidate we've been waiting for. She may
not have won the primaries due to widespread corruption and distractions, but
now we have the opportunity to support her. We need to rally behind her
candidacy to save this nation from further debt and to build a strong,
equitable economy for all. Her candidacy is beneficial for everyone, white and
non-white, in the middle and poor classes.
