The Trump Campaign's Dirty Dance: A Masterclass in Irony

A Face That Trump Did Not Want to Run Against

Oh, the Trump campaign has decided to start the mudslinging early this election season. How original. They’ve chosen to hurl every insult and accusation at Kamala Harris because a well-documented resume of failures isn’t enough to scare voters away. Meanwhile, good old Newt Gingrich is out here pleading with Democrats not to mention all the skeletons in Trump’s overstuffed closet. Begging. It’s almost endearing. Almost.

Listen, Newt, we get it. You’re scared. You’re worried the Democrats will bring up those pesky little details like January 6th, 2021. Remember that day? When Trump incited a mob to storm the Capitol and then conveniently vanished, leaving his followers to face the consequences? People died, but hey, details, right? It’s just so inconvenient for your narrative that he failed to cling to power and was forced to leave in disgrace. Twice impeached and still not in prison—what a role model. You Republicans sure do have a knack for picking 'em.

Trump’s running mate this time around is his doppelgänger, which is just perfect. Who wouldn’t want two of the same failed policies, lies, and delusions of grandeur? The Democrats don’t need to fabricate anything—they just need to remind voters of the facts. Like Trump’s stellar performance on January 6th and his impeachments. It’s almost poetic how he chickened out while his supporters were left to fend for themselves. Leadership at its finest.

Ah, the infamous wall. How’s that coming along? Oh right, it’s not. Despite wasting over $20 billion, it’s still not built. But sure, let's talk about building America, shall we? Trump couldn’t even manage to build a wall he obsessively talked about for four years. Democrats should bring that up. Along with how he treated national secrets like personal commodities to sell off for a quick buck. Remember his little performance next to Putin? The one where he acted like Putin’s errand boy? Such a proud moment in American history.

Newt, is this the guy you want back in the Oval Office? A man seemingly controlled by foreign powers? Every Republican backing Trump is essentially endorsing treason. But hey, who cares about national security when power and wealth are on the line, right? Republicans should really ponder this before making any decisions because the nation sure won’t forget. Or forgive. History, too, will be less than kind.

Let’s not even start with the religious groups supporting Trump. Preaching morals they never practice. It’s laughable. Supporting a man who ignored intelligence about COVID-19, leading to the deaths of over a million Americans. This election is about preserving the soul of the nation, about ensuring we don’t re-elect someone with that much blood on his hands.

So, Newt, for someone who was once third in line for the presidency, you should know better. Supporting treason and an utter lack of morals doesn’t paint you in the best light. And speaking of morals, remember when your wife was battling cancer while you were off with other women? Classy. You’re just another power-hungry Republican willing to sell your soul—or the nation's soul—for a taste of power.

This election isn’t just a choice between candidates. It’s a choice between moving forward or spiraling back into chaos. And the nation will remember those who stood on the wrong side of history.
