देखो कैसे देश बिक रहा है

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Delhi University (DU) are public universities in India, funded by the government, with a primary focus on education and research rather than profit. Despite this, they often face financial challenges due to inadequate funding, rising costs, and the need for facility expansion. These challenges are usually reflected in budget deficits rather than losses. Over the past decade, the government, despite collecting over ₹2 lakh crore in GST from Delhi, has failed to adequately fund these institutions, pushing them towards selling their assets to private companies. This situation is seen as a betrayal of the legacy of previous Congress governments, which established these public assets for the nation's benefit, now at risk of being sold off, echoing the colonial practices of the East India Company.


बिकता है जब देश हम सबका,

झूठ की हो जाती जीत।

घाटे में हम सबको डुबा कर,

देश बेचने की चल जाती रीत।

 

देशबासी यहाँ सब सो रहे हैं,

फर्क नहीं पड़ता उनको अब।

चौकीदार अब चोर निकला,

बेच रहा है हम सबका घर।

 

दिल्ली में जो लोग बसते हैं,

अब डाका पड़ने वाला है।

JNU जो दिल्ली का है,

अब वो भी बिकने वाला है।

 

घाटे में विश्वविद्यालय है ये,

ऐसा हमको कहते हैं।

पचपन साल का इतिहास है जिसका,

वो देश की शान कहलाता है।

 

सैकड़ों नेता जिसने पढ़कर आए,

देश को आगे ले गए वो।

सुपर पावर बनने को खड़ा है,

JNU की बदौलत जो।

 

घाटे में कैसे हो सकता,

जहाँ मुनाफा पैसों से नहीं होता।

महान नेता हैं जिसकी दौलत,

घाटे में वो कैसे हो सकता?

 

सोचो ये सब, ऐसी नौबत,

कैसे हम पर आई है?

भारत की ये महान यूनिवर्सिटी,

घाटे में कैसे पाई है?

 

लाखों-करोड़ों का टैक्स भरते हैं,

मिलकर दिल्ली वाले सब।

उस पैसे का क्या होता है,

मोदी जी ज़रा बताओ अब।

 

उस पैसे का कुछ तो हिस्सा,

शिक्षा के लिए दिया जाता है।

कहाँ गया वो पैसा सब,

JNU के हक में जो आता है?

 

JNU पे देश का हक है,

कैसे उसको बेचोगे तुम?

अनपढ़ को देश की चाबी देकर,

घुट रहा है देश का दम।

 

चंदा चोरी ये करता है,

देता है अपने यारों को।

फिर ये देश की संपत्ति बेच के,

खाली करता भंडारों को।
