Stolen Land Chronicles: A Democracy Built on Smoke and Mirrors

Ah, America, the land of the free—or so they say. A stolen land where no one is illegal, except for those who don’t fit the mold carefully crafted by a handful of self-anointed gatekeepers. Let’s not forget how this land was acquired: rich in minerals, and natural resources, and conveniently unguarded by European standards. The settlers, driven by insatiable greed and a moral compass that pointed suspiciously toward exploitation, needed labor to extract these riches. So, they looked outward, dragging in manpower from Africa, Asia, and South America—not as partners or paid workers, but as slaves. Why pay for services when you can take what you want?

Christianity, the great excuse of their time, became the ultimate rebranding tool for their crimes. Under its banner, they spread diseases to eliminate indigenous people, rewrote morality to suit their agendas, and did everything Christ himself would have condemned. The locals, unfamiliar with smallpox and colonial trickery, didn’t stand a chance. The settlers didn’t just steal land; they stole lives, culture, and history, all while draping themselves in a cloak of divine purpose. Jesus must be thrilled with what they’ve done in His name.

Today, the descendants of these enterprising conquerors continue the tradition, controlling 90% of the nation’s wealth. The system? A masterpiece of manipulation. On the surface, it’s called democracy—a term that sells well globally—but peel back the facade, and you’ll find a rigged game designed to ensure the rich stay rich, the powerful remain powerful, and the rest of us get breadcrumbs. Elections happen, sure, but real power lies in gerrymandered districts, manipulated policies, and a propaganda machine so well-oiled that it convinces people to vote against their own interests. Bravo.

Immigration policy is just another tool in their arsenal. The gatekeepers have mastered the art of selective welcome: "Come in if you’re rich, white, or otherwise non-threatening. Everyone else, stay out." And yet, when someone like Elon Musk strolls in from South Africa, subsidies and resources magically appear to help him build an electric car empire. Meanwhile, General Motors, which spent decades working toward the same goal, was left in the dust. Thirty percent subsidies, funded by taxpayers, handed to a man who became rich exploiting resources in Africa and America. Meritocracy? Please.

But the irony doesn’t stop there. Many white Americans in smaller states feel a deeper connection to Europeans than to their fellow non-white citizens. These are the same people who’ll decry immigrants but turn a blind eye to the history of stolen land and stolen labor that built their nation. And let’s not even start on the Civil War, where the North supposedly fought to abolish slavery while the South clung to its economic model of human bondage. Slavery may have been abolished on paper, but the system adapted. Enter the prison-industrial complex and immigration detention centers—new packaging for the same old exploitation.

And then there’s inflation, the convenient scapegoat of the moment. Yes, food prices have risen dramatically, largely because the low-cost labor we once took for granted has become scarce. But isn’t it interesting how we tolerate healthcare costs climbing 10% annually without a murmur, yet scream bloody murder when groceries go up? And while we’re on the subject of selective outrage, let’s talk about wages. Demand a living wage, and you’re labeled a liberal snowflake. But when car prices jump from $20,000 to $100,000, everyone just shrugs. “Don’t buy one,” they say, as if that explains away systemic greed.

As Americans, we’ve perfected the art of infighting. Race, religion, political affiliation—these are the arenas where we wage our wars, conveniently ignoring the real issues. While we argue about left versus right, the rich laugh all the way to the bank. National debt balloons, public services shrink, and the cost-of-living skyrockets. But hey, let’s keep debating which side is worse, as if that’s going to fix anything. Meanwhile, we continue to fund endless wars abroad—Israel, Ukraine, Europe, the Philippines—wars that enrich a few while the rest of us foot the bill. Who benefits? Certainly not the average American.

Here’s the ugly truth: no president, not Trump, not Biden, not anyone, is going to save us. Until Americans stop fighting each other and start asking hard questions about debt, inflation, and systemic corruption, nothing will change. The same applies globally. Corrupt governments everywhere rely on division to keep the masses distracted while they consolidate power. The stolen land deserves better, but its people must wake up first. Until they do, this “land of the free” will remain a prison of its own making, built on lies, greed, and the illusion of democracy.
