Modi, Where Are You? Rahul Is
Waiting, and the Clock Is Ticking!
Rahul Gandhi has once again
reminded Modi that another 24 hours have passed since he challenged him to an
open debate. The question remains: Modi ji, where are you? Rahul is waiting for
him to come out, face him, and stop making accusations without presenting
evidence. Rahul has challenged Modi over allegations of foreign influence and
is ready to present what he says is evidence of Modi's actions during his years
in power. For once, the nation could hear both sides and get a dose of truth
instead of the usual speeches broadcast by Godi media, assuming those channels
are willing to show up.
Modi has been so quiet for the
last two days that I wonder whether he can even hear himself anymore. Perhaps
he does not want even a whisper escaping from his room, fearing that someone
might discover where he is hiding. When a prime minister opens his mouth and
accuses the opposition of receiving foreign support without presenting proof,
he should be prepared to answer questions about his own foreign connections. In
my view, Modi has repeatedly appeared submissive before Trump and other world
leaders, yet he behaves like a lion when attacking the opposition from a
political stage. He should have realized that Rahul would challenge his
accusations and demand answers.
I believe the questions about
foreign financial influence, Modi's political relationships, and his
government's decisions deserve an open examination. If Modi has nothing to
hide, why not accept the debate and present his side? Rahul says he has the
evidence, and the nation deserves an opportunity to examine it rather than
listen to another round of accusations.
The challenge should not simply
disappear after a few days. I can imagine a giant clock in Delhi counting the
hours since Rahul challenged Modi, with one question displayed prominently: “मोदी जी, कहाँ
छिपे हो?” A YouTube channel could
also maintain a continuous archive of Modi's speeches, BJP's claims, the
evidence available to verify them, and Rahul's unanswered debate invitation.
That would give people an opportunity to compare political promises with actual
records.
Modi ji, the clock is ticking.
Rahul is waiting. The nation deserves answers. How much longer will you avoid
the debate?
